Two students from Adi Cakobau School in Sawani during the 2023 National Agriculture Show held at the Vodafone Arena in Suva had their career paths paved.

Year 10 Agriculture students Esther Talanatoga and Anamaria Naisa said it is their ambition to become veterinarians.

“We are excited to be here today to be a part of this Agriculture Show because we are able to interact and learn more on what we learn in school,” said Anamaria Naisa.

The duo who have an interest in livestock said seeing people tend to animals for their health encourages them to pursue the same career.

“The lives of animals is also very important and what we are seeing today has broaden our interest to not only concentrate on pets but also extend vet work to other livestock and it is a very exciting profession,” said Esther.

The two animal lovers joined other agriculture students of Adi Cakobau School to the 2023 National Agriculture Show.
