MINISTER RAYALU SUPPORTS MOCE HIGH SCHOOL CRICKET TEAM

August 26, 2024

Cricket players from Moce High School in Lau were reminded this afternoon to play their hearts out and make their island proud.

These were the sentiments shared by the Minister for Agriculture and Waterways, Honourable Vatimi Rayalu, when handing over a set of cricket uniforms to the team.

“I understand that this is your first appearance as a team to the secondary school competition. Stay focused and stay positive. You will meet bigger schools who have been playing in the competition since it started,” added Hon. Rayalu.

“I feel honoured to support you through the sponsorship of your uniforms and hope that you will play your best during this weeklong competition."

Team captain, Waisea Rabuli said that the sponsorship by Hon. Rayalu is an added boost to the school team and they are grateful for the tremendous support.

“We are grateful for Hon. Rayalu's support and accommodating our request for sponsorship. This is our first time to the competition and we are going to give it our all,” said Mr. Rabuli.

The competition for Fiji Secondary School Cricket begins tomorrow.
