FAREWELL TO A DEDICATED STAFF MEMBER

An emotional send off from the Land Resource Planning and Development Division (LRPD), to one of it dedicated staff; Kate Batikawai.

The LRPD Director Amena Banuve said throughout her time with the Ministry, Kate has been the epitome of dedication and commitment.

"We thank you for your unwavering dedication to your work and your willingness to go above and beyond to support our Division. You have always been a beacon of reliability and strength, always ready to lend a hand whenever needed in the LRPD work family and the Ministry," he said.

"As we reflect on Kate's contributions, we are reminded that there is a time and season for everything. Kate’s journey with us has been marked by her exceptional work ethic and her ability to inspire those around her. From the entire division and the ministry, we extend our heartfelt best wishes for this new opportunity and continue to shine in your new role, making positive impact wherever you go."

A testament to the lasting impact Kate has made, her farewell present travelled all the way from Saudi Arabia. This special gift symbolized the deep appreciation and respect her colleagues have for her.

In her heartfelt farewell speech, Kate expressed her gratitude to the ministry and the division for the unwavering support and collaboration.

"Thank you Mr Banuve, for your exemplary leadership and for believing in my abilities and thank you team for the wonderful work development we've all shared," she said.

Kate's words were a poignant reminder of the bonds shared and the incredible work journey embarked together.

Farewell, Kate. You will be deeply missed, but we know that great things await you. Best of luck in all your future endeavors.
