“Make use of the available land, take advantage of government assistance programs, actively engage in floriculture activities and we look forward to seeing positive impact of your work in the near future," added Mr. Banuve.
The training focused on teaching participants how to manage a floriculture nursery, the cultivation and care of anthuriums and orchids, gaining hands-on experience in raising flowers, flower arrangement techniques, creating stunning floral arrangements, and essential skill for adding value to floriculture products.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways remains dedicated to its mission of promoting sustainable farming practices, enhancing food security, and supporting the agricultural community with a special focus on empowering women.
Future training sessions and initiatives will continue to provide women with the tools and resources they need to thrive in an ever-evolving agricultural landscape.
