HON. TUNABUNA EMPHASIZES STAFF HEALTH AND WELL BEING DURING NORTHERN VISIT

The Assistant Minister for Agriculture and Waterways, Honourable Tomasi Tunabuna, took time during his official visit to the Northern Division to meet with staff members who are currently facing health challenges, reinforcing the importance of health and well-being in the workplace.

His visit reflected strong leadership and genuine care, acknowledging the dedication of ministry personnel while emphasizing the need for regular health checks and proactive wellness practices.

Recognizing staff's critical role in advancing agricultural initiatives, Hon. Tunabuna encouraged all employees within the Ministry of Agriculture and Waterways to prioritize their health, ensuring they remain strong, motivated, and able to serve rural communities effectively.

“Our people are the backbone of the ministry’s operations. We must also look after ourselves as we continue to support farmers and agricultural development," he said.

"Regular health check-ups and a commitment to well-being are essential to maintaining productivity and ensuring that we serve our communities with strength and dedication,” he emphasized.
